"The Biotechnology Toolkit" provides introductory materials on the core elements in the enabling environment important to bring life sciences breakthroughs from the theoretical stage to the market as new, innovative products and services.

Scientists and biotechnology entrepreneurs the world over need the same things in order to commercially develop inventions for social and economic benefits. In this context, we hope that this paper makes an additional contribution to improved understanding of how technology transfer contributes to this process to advance innovative life sciences in developing and developed countries.
